LITTLE BLACK DRESS FAQ

1.  What is the Icon Series?

The Icon series is a special portrait experience designed to celebrate Iconic looks through out time.  These sessions will range across decades while maintaining a very contemporary aesthetic.

2.  What are the Little Black Dress sessions?  

The LBD sessions are part of my 2025 Icon Series Portraits. The LBD sessions are the "opening number" but completely embody the very essence of what my Icon Series will become.  This legendary look has made it's mark in EVERY SINGLE decade for the last 100 years or more.  

3.  What is included in the $389 session fee?

  • Personal Consultation via FB or IG messenger (text based only!)

  • Professional Hair & Make up

  • Use of my studio wardrobe & accessories

  • Expert Posing Guidance

  • Specialty lighting and backdrops designed to embody the fashion & elegance of the LBD

  • Live Styling during the photoshoot

  • Full Retouching

  • Reveal & Ordering Appointment

4.  What are the LBD inspired looks?

Based on our chat and communication before your session we will decide which style of LBD will be the perfect match for what you want your portraits to speak to about you, about art, or about fashion in general.  These dresses can range from completely formal gowns, to simple beachwear tank top dresses.  This can be as unfiltered or as glamorous as you would like.

5.  If I have a credit from your recent Model Call, how does that work? 

Your $200 voucher can be applied towards the session fee and your other $200 can be applied towards any collection of photographs.

6.  How do I book my session?

  • Submit the contact form on the LBD page

  • Schedule your consultation (this will arrive via email once you submit your contact form, so please check your SPAM folder)

  • Complete your consultation

  • ​Pay your session fee

  • Complete all forms & agreements and submit answers to questions!

7.  What if I want to add additional looks to my session?

During your consultation we can explore how you want to be photographed in the LBD and determine if additional looks are possible and create a custom session fee just for you.

8.  What if I need to reschedule?  

All session booked are subject to the reschedule/fees policies in the portrait agreement.  Because of the exclusive and very limited  nature of these sessions any reschedules lose the special offer and any gifted vouchers and you will be required to pay a new session fee at the full price to reschedule.  Please note, there are no refunds on any payments made to MSP. 

9.  How will I get my images?

After your session, we will schedule an online Zoom reveal and ordering appointment with in 1-2 weeks of your session.  At that time you will see all of your photographs from your photoshoot and can choose which photographs you would like to purchase.

10.  How much are the photographs?

You can purchase your photographs in multiple ways.  Take a peek at the pricing below for Icon Series Sessions.

A-La-Carte:  $389 each

(a single digital file at full resolution)

Folio Collections:

(your choice of 5, 10, 15, or 20 digital files PLUS complimentary wall art.

5 Images $1850 (incl. 1 8x12 matted portrait)

10 Images $2250 (incl. 2 8x12 matted portaits)

15 Images $3250 (incl. 3 8x12 matted portraits)

20 Images $4150 (incl. 6 8x12 matted portraits)

The Complete Collection. $4850

(All of your digital file at full resolution)

PLUS Your choice of MODEL BOOK or ALBUM 

PLUS either 2 10x15 matted portraits or 1 16x20 wall portrait.

11.  Do you offer payments plans or financing?  

Getting your dream portrait collection just got a whole lot easier.  I offer financing through PayLater via PayPal on all pre-purchased collections as well as in house financing options to spread your payments out over time.  If you are interested in financing options let me know during your consultation and I am more than happy to go over all of the details!

12.  How do I prepare for my photoshoot?

Don't worry, I am going to walk you through the entire process from start to finish.  During our consult I will go over more details with you about how to prepare for your day with me.

13.  What do I need to bring?  

During our consultation we can discuss what you should bring to you session!  For the most part the main requirement will be a black bra and panty set that can be worn under my studio wardrobe.

What you need to know before booking:

  • Your session fee is non-refundable from the time of payment

  • Your session fee DOES NOT include any photographs. Prints and digital files are purchased separately.

  • This session cannot be purchased for someone else as a gift certificate.

  • All sessions are custom and bespoke and as such all sales are FINAL with absolutely NO refunds or exchanges on product.

  • There are no guests, family, or spouses permitted during your session or reveal and ordering appointments.

  • The only time to view and purchase your photographs is at your Zoom Reveal and Ordering appointment.  If you do not show up for your reveal appointment, there will be a minimum purchase of my Complete Collection ($4850).

  • If for any reason you become aware that you will be unable to make a purchase at your reveal, I ask that you please reschedule to a time that will be financially better for you.  Preparing your portraits and showing them during the reveal take considerable time and as a courtesy I ask that you please reschedule so that I can direct that attention to another client.  I appreciate your respect for my studio's time management.
