Here is what you need to know about MSP MODEL CALL 2019!
This is an open model call for women ages 40 plus to have the opportunity to have a make over and photoshoot with Melody Smith and receive a gift voucher towards a make over and photoshoot (total value of $400).
Over the next few months we want to focus on photographing and featuring stories from women who are over 40 as we embark on a journey of empowering women of ALL ages to celebrate individuality, strength, compassion and self love.
We will be photographing behind the scenes and also filming specific content to use in future marketing videos.
What do you get exactly?
For modeling, simply put, you are receiving a gift voucher for $400. My session fee is $189 plus tax, that comes to right at $200 and then you will be able to use the remaining balance on your voucher towards a collection of photographs.
This amount is applicable to the TOTAL session; session fee and collection purchase and excludes a-la-carte purchases.
What happens if I have to reschedule?
Because we offered a limited number of slots, we cannot allow reschedules. However, if you need to reschedule your session, you can pay the session fee in full for your reschedule and still use up to $200 in gift vouchers for the purchase of your photographs.
What happens if I do not show up for my shoot?
This does happen, and we try very hard to keep you invested and excited about your shoot. Because we have had so many women who want to do this session and were not selected, if you do not show up to your shoot or communicate to let us know you cannot make it or have changed your mind, in the future to reserve a session with me you will be required to pay a $750 minimum reservation fee.
What is the fine print?
There is none. You are under no obligation to buy or purchase any photographs. The gift voucher covers you for all of your session fee, you only buy the photographs that you love.

Why should you do a photoshoot and what would you even do with all these photos anyway?
I have photographed over 5000 women over the course of 20+ years. I have heard every story you can think of regarding why someone "isn't good enough" to exist in a photograph; from losing weight, to not feeling photogenic, to being too old to no one cares to see photos of me. I remember times in my life where I refused to be in photographs because of how I thought I looked, and looking back to those years, I feel a tremendous sense of loss, as though I didn't exist for years in moments with my son, my husband, and my family. I also know what it is like to feel like you will never be the most beautiful version of yourself, because you feel that no one sees it. Trust me when I tell you, I see it...and I desperately want to show it to you.
I want you to have the best photographs you have ever seen of yourself. I want them to serve as a reminder to you each and every day that you are worthy, you are beautiful and you have light and love inside of you. I want you to share these with your partner, so they can see your confidence. I want you to share them with your children, who think you are the most beautiful being in the whole world. I want you to give them to your mother and grandmother so they can see the strong and independent woman they have helped raise. I want you to use these images as a gateway to inspire other women who you love and care about.
