An online consultation is required to reserve any session with MSP. I conduct consultations online through Facebook messenger on my business page MELODY SMITH PORTRAIT.
WHAT TO EXPECT
During our online consult we will go over all of the details of how sessions with me work! I hope that you will share plenty of examples and inspiration photos during our chat through messenger. This text base chat is incredibly convenient as it allows you to multi-task AND have all of the information on hand to review at your leisure! This is a chance to deep dive into how you want to be photographed AND ask ANY questions you may have about the process!

THE STUDIO
Spend the day in my glamorous studio being treated like royalty. My studio is located in Historic Old Towne Petersburg, Virginia with private parking located directly behind our studio. The studio is both a natural light studio AND studio lighting. Your session will include a variety of lighting styles and backdrops!
DESIGN & CONCEPT
Your session will be carefully designed from posing to wardrobe. I choose the most flattering posing intended to slim, shape, and accentuate your best features. Share with me your favorite poses from my website or Pinterest!
HAIR & MAKE UP
Every session includes a beautiful make over complete with hair styling and professional make up by me. I use a variety of high end cosmetics to create the perfect camera ready look.
Make sure that you PLAN A NIGHT OUT! You will look incredible after your session!
WARDROBE
My studio houses a vast and glamorous wardrobe with over 2000 garments, props, and accessories ranging in size from 00-24. Each session is designed with multiple unique looks from casual to glamorous. My wardrobe is constantly expanding as I purchase and discover new looks! Please note, I do not provide wardrobe for men/boys or children at this time.
POSING & DIRECTION
Every client is fully directed with posing and expression from the toes to the tip of the head. I know what beauty is and how to find it in every single person I have ever met. Everything from the way your hair lays, how your figure is accentuated, to getting the sparkle in your eyes, is given complete direction. You don't have to do anything but simply follow my lead!
REVEAL & ORDERING
After your session, we will schedule a time for your reveal and ordering appointment. All of our reveals are conducted through ZOOM. At that time you will get to see 40-50 unique images from your session and you can choose to purchase your portraits either a-la-carte or in collections.
YOUR INVESTMENT OPTIONS
PRICING
Purchase your images a-la-carte starting at $389 per digital image or in collections starting at $2250. Most people purchase EVERYTHING from their session with ALL digital files for $4850!

You only BUY what you LOVE!
FINANCING
MSP offers interest free in house financing on all collection purchases. We do not finance a-la-carte purchases. Simply put 30% down on your collection and we will automatically withdraw $200 each month on the 15th until your product is paid in full. Once you have paid in full, we will deliver your digital files and physical product.
There are no refunds or exchanges on any product purchase with Melody Smith Portrait.
