An online consultation is required to reserve any session with MSP. We conduct our consultations online through Facebook messenger on our business page MELODY SMITH PORTRAIT.

During our text based chat we will share with you examples of not only work that matches what you are looking for, but you will get an exclusive look at FULL sessions and behind the scenes of our private sessions in the studio.

BEHIND THE SCENES
Do you wonder what a shoot with MSP is like? Check out this behind the scenes look at a day with Melody Smith. Melody is an international award winning Triple Master photographer specializing in contemporary and fine art portraiture.
THE STUDIO
Spend the day in our glamorous studio being treated like royalty. Our studio is located in Historic Old Towne Petersburg, Virginia with private parking located directly behind our studio. Our studio is over 3000 square feet of PURE luxury and includes multiple shooting areas, backgrounds, and lighting.
DESIGN & CONCEPT
Your session will be carefully designed from posing to wardrobe. We choose the most flattering posing intended to slim, shape, and accentuate your best features. Share with us your favorite poses and wardrobe from our contemporary portrait pinterest board and we will take care of the rest! Your style, our expertise!
HAIR & MAKE UP
Every session includes a beautiful make over complete with hair styling and professional make up.
We use high end luxury products to create a flawless magazine style finish to your look.
Make sure that you PLAN A NIGHT OUT! You will look incredible after your session!
WARDROBE
Our studio houses a vast and glamorous wardrobe with over 2000 garments, props, and accessories ranging in size from 00-24. Each session is designed with 3-7 unique looks from casual to glamorous. Our wardrobe is constantly expanding as we purchase and discover new looks for each of our clients sessions. Please note, we do not provide wardrobe for men/boys at this time.
POSING & DIRECTION
Every client is fully directed with posing and expression from the toes to the tip of the head. I know what beauty is and how to find it in every single person I have ever met. Everything from the way your hair lays, how your figure is accentuated, to getting the sparkle in your eyes, is given complete direction.
You don't have to do anything but simply follow my lead!
REVEAL & ORDERING
After your session, we will schedule a time for your reveal and ordering appointment. All of our reveals are conducted through ZOOM. At that time you will get to see 40-50 unique images from your session and you can choose to purchase your portraits either a-la-carte or in collections.
YOUR INVESTMENT OPTIONS
PRICING
Purchase your images a-la-carte starting at $389 per digital image or in collections starting at $2250. Most people purchase EVERYTHING from their session with ALL digital files for $4850!

PRICING MENU
You only BUY what you LOVE!
FINANCING
MSP offers interest free in house financing on all collection purchases. We do not finance a-la-carte purchases. Simply put 30% down on your collection and we will automatically withdraw $200 each month on the 15th until your product is paid in full. Once you have paid in full, we will deliver your digital files and physical product.
There are no refunds or exchanges on any product purchase with Melody Smith Portrait.
