Schedule:
We shoot on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays.
All sessions begin at 10:00 am when the client arrives for hair and make up.
We do not have sessions EVERY M, W, F. The schedule is spaced out to ensure that we have time to plan each session properly.
On very rare occasions, i.e. if a client is traveling from out of state, and there is a reason to have to reschedule their session, it is possible to have to shoot on a Saturday.
You are required to be at the studio no later than 8:00 am on shoot days
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, we have reveals, consults, as well as administrative maintenance (inventory, stock, website updates etc) production (printing, cutting, packaging, shipping) and other projects. Consults and reveals are scheduled 10:30 - 2:30 pm. On occassion we may need to do a reveal later in the afternoon than normal.
*Hours will vary depending on need, and availability, and additional tasks taken on.
Days when there are no shoots/consults/reveals:
On days when we do not have clients scheduled, I am normally in post production editing. These are great days to work on client communication, content creation marketing for the studio, shopping for client wardrobe, working on studio projects etc. website animoto updates and more.
Shoot day time line:
8:00. - Open/Set up studio (morning admin, editing) Stage for Shoot
10:00. - Client arrives (Greet Client at vehicle and carry their belongings)
10:00 - 11:30 Client Hair and Make up (steam wardrobe, prepare garments/backdrops, camera gear)
12:00 - 2/3/4:00: Shooting (assist client with wardrobe, set up backdrops, shift lighting, fix garments, move reflectors, hold items, etc)
POST SHOOT WRAP: Clean make up brushes, put wardrobe away, restore studio.
