Current Opportunities

An ideal candidate can grow into the following roles:  Studio Social Media Content Creator, Hair & Make Up Artist, as well as assisting during client photoshoots.

Studio Assistant / Studio Support

(Part-time | In-person).  $15-18/hr

​

• Help with Client Preparation, Communication, & Studio 

  Maintenance/Organization.

• Assist on Shoot Days 

• Support Social Media & Content Projects (as needed)

• Light Office & Admin Support

• Small Errands (post office etc)

What does Assisting on a Shoot look like?

You will arrive prior to the client, arrange and set up the studio for shoots including atmospheric details such as lighting candles, setting out snacks etc, then setting up backgrounds/lighting/props for the various wardrobe changes. Once the shoot begins you will be asked to grab items for posing, switch backgrounds, and move things around in the shooting space itself.  After the session, you will be required to restore and clean the studio as part of closing the studio for the day.

Studio Content Creator & Studio Assistant

(Part-time | In-person - ENTRY LEVEL)  $15-18/hr

• Capture behind-the-scenes content 

• Assist with social media content creation

  (photos, video clips, captions) 

• Help manage posting schedule under brand guidance

• Organize content for posting and promotion

• Assist on Shoot Days*

What's involved with being a content creator and studio assistant?

You would assume all responsibilities of the studio assistant (set up and break down of studio and support during the shoot itself) while also taking time to document behind the scenes and stock footage during the session.  You will be asked to submit all footage, then cull and produce various types of content for the studio's social media accounts.  Together we will manage, produce, and organize consistent content for the studio.

Hair and Makeup Artist  

(Part-time/In Person -TRAINING PROVIDED) $ TBD

• Shadow & Assist with Styling (if you do not have exprience)

• Opportunity to build portfolio experience in professional

   setting.

• Must be punctual, client-centered, & skilled at helping

  clients feel confident.

​What's involved with being a Hair and Make Up Artist for MSP?

I am looking for someone who loves natural looks and "make-unders" but also someone who is capable of handling client make up requests for things such as personal branding.  If you are only interested in providing professional hair and make up services, you would be responsible for initial styling and 1 round of changes during the session itself.  My studio houses a full range of professional cosmetics that will be at your disposal.  If you are a new artist looking to gain experience, learn new techniques this position will extend into the role of Studio Assistant.
